What is in your school?

(Rant warning)

""Like" if you think the Bible, prayer, cursive, etc should be in our schools."

Everyday on Facebook friends post these memes.

Well guess what? My kids do have the Bible, prayer, and cursive in their school. They also have hymn singing, scripture memorization, character building, apologetics, Creationism, long division, music, piano, art, the Christian principles founding our nation and much more.

If you want something done right, do it yourself.
If you care enough to do it your self, don't complain about those who do it for you.

I have known single parents, disabled parents, families that obviously had to have two incomes, blended families, adoptive families, and families obviously living below the poverty line homeschool.

If you don't have enough money to give your child the type of education God tells us to, what exactly are you using that money for that's so much more important?

God always gives you what you need to do what He tells you to and the Bible makes it clear that a small Christian school or homeschool is His desire. So where is the money He gave you to school with going?

And "our schools"? Since when were they "our schools"?

America's government school system was founded by atheist/socialists who had the goal of removing Christianity from our culture. Their intention was to separate children from their parents so they could "teach them right." Originally, the only way to get children from Christian homes into these schools was to shove the legislation down their throats and then send the police to their house to force the children into school at gun point.

And why did the "Christian" parent give up? The atheists began to promise they would include a protestant Bible reading and prayer so the children of Catholics would be converted to Protestantism.

Real godly goals and methods there, right? Remove other parent's God-given right to raise their children the way they want to.

Lets get down to the brass tax:
80% of Christian parents send their children to governement schools.
65-85% of children from "Christian" homes leave the church the minute they become adults.

We are hemmoraging children in the Christian church.

And one research interviewed some of those that stayed in church and found out that they did know/believe enough Christian doctrine to BE saved. They stayed in church because they thought it was the right thing to do, not because they had Jesus in their hearts.

80% of homeschoolers are conservative Christians.
96% of homeschool graduates continue in the same or almost the same religion as their parents ("almost the same" being "well, they are Baptist and I am Assembly of God.")

Other studies have confirmed it; children raised in a Christian homeschool are far more likely to stay in church, to choose to serve Jesus.

It is the parent's job to do what they can to make it as likely as possible their children will choose Jesus. That is why Paul said "Parents, don't frustrate your children to anger but bring them up in the culture and education of the Lord." (Ephesians 6) and God told Moses to tell parents to "Teach My words to your children every waking moment." (Deuteronomy 6). Jesus said "If you are not with Me you are against Me. If you are not gathering you are scattering." and "When the education is over the student will be like the teacher." and "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto Goe the things that are God's."

My children belong to God, not Caesar.

What about yours?
